I love a simple fun fold that looks impressive! This one is exactly that. It’s an accordion fold that has a neat little front pop out. There are lots of ways to dress it up or down – it’s all about the layers. This might even be the fold I’ll use for my holiday cards this year. I hope you get a moment to try it out soon!

Have you seen the Choose Happy Stamp Set? Let me tell you that this one is one you’ll use all year long. It has a little bit of everything and the sweet simplicity of the images make card crafting so much fun. These little stamps would also be fun added to journals. I love some cute images with my journaling. I created this card using Strawberry Slush for the base. I also used the ’25-’27 In Color 6×6 DSP and Basic White. The cool thing about this card is that you can use any shape for the window –as long as the card opens freely it works! Use your Stampin’ Blends to color in the images and you’ve got the cutest card. I used Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green here. I also used a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to the bee’s wings.
Here’s what you need to know to create this card.
CUTTING/SCORING
BASE: (Strawberry Slush) 5 1/2″x8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
INSIDE: (Basic White) 5″x8″, score at 2″, 4″, and 6″
WINDOW: Use the shape of your choice – I used circle dies
**OPTIONAL INSIDE LAYERS: 1 3/4″x 4 3/4″ (x2); 1 5/8″x 4 5/8″ (x2) I used one layer in the second sample and two layers in the third sample.

This is a fun card. I made it for my grandson and granddaughter who are starting 1st and 2nd grade. I used the Just a Note Bundle along with the Boho Vibes 6×6 DSP. The dies in this bundle are so fun. You can die cut binder clips, paper clips, make a clipboard and so much more. The stamp and note paper die is perfect for cards and or scrapbooking. I used Secret Sea for the base, Daffodil Delight for the inside accordion layer and Crushed Curry for the window. As you can see on this card, I used a rectangle shape this time.

This card ended up being my favorite. I saw a similar card layer online and decided to change it up making it into this fun fold. I love how the silver Flower Garden Foils paper looks with the Cloud Cover and Strawberry Slush. I used the Impressions Abloom Bundle for the flowers. I also ran the Base White Cardstock for the window through the 3D Mini Corrugated Embossing Folder. There’s so much texture on this card. I used some Strawberry Slush Ribbon and coordinating ’25-’27 In Color Flat Pearls to finish it off.
I can’t wait to make more of these cards. It may even be one of my holiday card folds this year. I love a good versatile fun fold.
Happy Crafting!
