Here’s a great fun fold that really shows off all those fun Designer Series Papers. It’s also a great way to display all those pretty floral dies and stamps you have in your stash. You can make this card simple or really go crazy with layering. What’s your mood? This one works for all the moods!!
Isn’t this fun! I used the Painterly Pairs Suite for this card. The base is Mossy Meadow. The DSP is so pretty and it’s easy to “pear” everything together. I used the Thank You stamp with the new Banner Sayings Punch. (If you haven’t seen the Banner Sayings Bundle, it’s definitely a wonderful bundle you’ll use all the time!! The punch is amazingly useful.) I kept the inside simple with just a stamped set of pears colored in Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie. To finish off the card I used some shimmery ribbon and some Low Profile Sparkle Dots. Here’s what you need to know to create this fun fold.
CUTTING/SCORING INSTRUCTIONS
BASE: (Mossy Meadow) 4 1/4″x11″, scored at 1 1/2″ and 6 3/4″
OUTSIDE CORNER DSP: 3 3/4″x 3 3/4″, cut on the diagonal
BOTTOM DSP: 1 1/4″x4″
INSIDE DSP: 4″x5″
INSIDE CORNER: (Basic White) 3 1/2″x3 1/2″
OPTION INSIDE CORNER FOR TOP FLAP: *use leftover piece from front
OTHER: ribbon, dimensionals, embellishments, punch
I used the Floral Charm Suite for this card. As you can see, this fun fold is easy to dress up with lots of layers if that’s the look you want. The base is Timid Tiger. I used lots of Mossy Meadow die cut leaves and stems and also colored and die cut lots of flowers here. I used Petal Pink, Timid Tiger, Mossy Meadow and Clear Wink of Stella for a really pretty bouquet. I can’t wait to send this to my friend for her birthday!
Again, I made this card with tons of flowers and stems. I used the Brushed with Beauty Suite which is just full of the most amazing paper, stamps and dies. The bae is Secret Sea. The flowers and stems are a variety of colors that coordinate with the Designer Series Paper. I also colored in the centers of the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella for some extra sparkle. You can go crazy with the details on this fun fold – or keep it very simple. It’s all about your mood and the vibe you want. I love options.
