Do you ever spot a beautiful fun fold card… and then keep scrolling because it’s not a standard A2 size? I’ll admit—I do it all the time. I love my standard cards and envelopes, so anything oversized usually gets passed by.

But every now and then, a design grabs my attention so much that I have to make it work. That’s exactly what happened with this card! I took a larger fun fold and reconfigured it into an A2 size—and I’m so glad I did. It turned out perfectly, and now I can’t stop making them. I just know you’re going to love this one too!

This first card gives total “relaxing afternoon at the lake” vibes. I used the Waterside Retreat Suite from the May–August 2026 catalog, and it couldn’t be more perfect—especially for masculine cards like Father’s Day.

One of my favorite details is the acetate strip on the front panel. It creates the illusion that the Adirondack chair is sitting right on the dock—such a fun touch! I paired Pecan Pie and Pool Party for the base and used lots of that gorgeous Designer Series Paper to set the scene.

To bring it to life, I stamped directly onto the DSP and added a small book to the chair, making it look like someone stepped away for a peaceful walk by the water. Even though this fold looks intricate, it’s surprisingly simple to create!

Here’s everything you need to know to create your own.

CUTTING/SCORING MEASUREMENTS
BASE: (Pecan Pie) 4 1/4″x5 1/2″
BACK: (Pool Party) 4″x5 1/4″, (Basic White) 3 3/4″x5″
FRONT: (Pool Party) 1 1/2″x4″ (x2); 2″x4″ (x1); (DSP) 1 3/8″x3 7/8″ (x2); 1 7/8″x3 7/8″ (x1)
HINGE FOR BOOK: (Pecan Pie) 1 1/2″x10″, score at 1, 2 1/2″, 4″, 6″, 7 1/2″, and 9″
LAYERS FOR HINGE: (Pool Party) 1 3/8″x1 3/8″ (x6) **or 1 1/4″x1 1/4″ will work as well
BOOK: (Pecan Pie) 4 1/4″x4 1/4, score at 2 1/8″; (Pool Party) 1 7/8″x4″ (x2); (DSP) 1 3/4″x3 7/8″ (x2)
ACETATE STRIP: 1″x7 1/4″, score at 1 1/5″ on each end **cardstock works too!

This second card is just breathtaking. I used the Velvet Meadow Suite, and it is truly stunning. The Designer Series Paper features a soft velvet texture in the floral sprays, adding such a luxurious feel.

The color palette is pure springtime—pinks, yellows, and the new Peaceful Pine In-Color. I paired Peaceful Pine with Bubble Bath for the base and stamped using Peaceful Pine and Berry Burst inks.

And finally, another absolute showstopper! This card features the Moonlit Flora Suite, and those dies are incredible. The focal point is that gorgeous fern spray on the front panel—it’s elegant, eye-catching, and honestly, I’m completely in love with how this one turned out.

I used Mossy Meadow and the new In-Color Golden Glow for the base. To give the moths a magical touch, I added Clear Wink of Stella, which makes them shimmer beautifully in the light.

For the back panel, I stamped a large fern in Mossy Meadow and softly colored it with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The result is a soft, dreamy look that perfectly complements the front.

I truly can’t decide which of these cards is my favorite—does that ever happen to you?
