It’s that season. We’re busy. As busy as we are though, we want to make sure we still have time to send happy mail to everyone we care about. This bridge card is one of those folds that everyone’s should know. It’s a quick and simple card you can make that will still impress. And the beauty of this “recipe” is that it will work for literally any occasion and works with any paper, cardstock, embellishments and greetings. You just can’t go wrong with it. In a pinch, I know I can always create several at once and get that task checked off my ever growing list of things I want to do!!

How sweet is this card. The Jar of Joy Bundle is full of wonderful options. The coordinating punch makes it super easy. Don’t forget the Sweet Jar stamps that also coordinate with the punch. These two sets will carry you through the whole year! I used Crumb Cake for the base and then used Gold Metallic Specialty Paper and the gorgeous Season of Elegance Specialty Paper. I’m so glad it carried over for another season because it’s perfect. I stamped the jar in Smoky Slate and the cookies in Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler. I added some Flower Accents to bring in more gold and added some Cherry Cobbler and Gold Ribbon that I had left over. It’s retired but you could use anything white, red or gold here. There is some red ribbon available. I used Stylish Shapes dies for the circles and the banner. Those dies are really a ‘must have’ because you’ll find yourself using them all the time!
Here’s what you need to know to create this card.

Halloween is a couple days away so I made my grandson a cute card. The Spooky Sweet Suite is so much fun. I’m going to play around with ideas on using this as kid friendly birthday cards – that way I can use it past Halloween! To create this card, I used Daffodil Delight for the base and layered Granny Apple Green and Spooky Suite Designer Series Paper scraps. I didn’t add the extra layer beneath the DSP this time. The dies did most of the work here! I colored the FrankenPup with Granny Apple, Daffodil Delight and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends. I also colored in his hair, nose and shoes in Clear Wink of Stella to give him a little sparkle. The Shimmer Star Foam Stickers are perfect embellishments for this card.

Well I couldn’t leave Thanksgiving out so I created the trifecta. Actually, Thanksgiving is my very favorite holiday. I used the Autumn Toile Suite to create this card. The base is Crumb Cake and I used Mossy Meadow and the gorgeous DSP to create the layers. I stamped You’re Simply the Best in Versamark and embossed it with gold embossing powder. I colored the pumpkin image on the bridge in Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow. There is also a few scraps of Irregular Weave Trim tucked behind them. I finished this card off my adding some Streaked Dots. I’ll probably be making about 10 more of these later this week so I can have all my Thanksgiving cards ready to go!
What’s your favorite holiday or season? I know not everyone celebrates holiday but I bet most everyone has a season they love. Mine is Fall! Check out these leaves I spotted when leaf peeping in the Rockies. The Aspens were really showing off that day!

Happy Fall & Happy Crafting!

First time watcher Jill and I love your cards! I also love the fact that you are a full time RV’er. We had several motor homes years ago and so enjoyed camping – especially when our kids were young and even after the grandkids came along. Now we are in our 80’s and retired in Florida but oh how we miss camping and the wonderful State Parks we visited but we were never able to do it full time.

Hi Kathy! Thanks for sharing your love of all things camping! We had a pop-up when the kids were growing up and also tent camped when they were teenagers…and we were both scout leaders so we really spent a lot of time in the woods!! I agree – State Parks are fantastic. We rarely stay in private parks because the State Parks and Core of Engineers Parks are so much better (and cheaper!!). What part of Florida are you in? We both grew up in the Tampa area and raised our kids in Lithia. We’ll be in Lakeland for a few months from January – April visiting our parents and siblings.
