I have been wanting to make this card, however all the video tutorials I found were in 5×7 size. That’s a great size card, but it doesn’t work for me. I rarely have the correct envelope to fit and lack the space for storing such large cards (RV Life, lol.) My containers hold A2 and smaller. So, I did hard math (hard for me!) and figured this out in A2 size…so why not share it with all my friends. I love a unique fold and now I can do it in 2 sizes if I want to…and so can YOU!

Isn’t she gorgeous. That paper!!! I created this card using the new In-Color Secret Sea for my base and layered it with Lost Lagoon. Those two colors pair nicely together. I added some beautiful DSP from the Beautiful Gallery 6×6 DSP pack. I can’t get enough of this pretty paper!! I also used the stamps and a floral die from the Beautiful Motifs and added some Pressed Flower Motifs which is also part of this beautiful suite of products. This unique card is not difficult to make. Just give the video a watch and craft along with me and you’ll be making these like a pro!

Here’s what you need to know!

CUTTING/SCORING MEASUREMENTS
BASE: (Secret Sea) 5 1/2″x8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″; then mark 2″ from the top right of the front panel and cut down to the bottom right corner . save this piece for your first fan piece.

FRONT LAYERS: (Lost Lagoon) 4″x5 1/4″, cut the same way as the base; (Beautiful Gallery DSP) 3 3/4″x5″, cut the same way as the base

ARROW 1 (bottom arrow): Use triangle cut from base; LAYER: (Lost Lagoon) 1 3/4″x5″ cut diagonally from top left to bottom right; LAYER: (DSP) 1 1/2″x4 3/4″ cut diagonally from top left to bottom right.

ARROW 2 (top arrow): (Secret Sea) 3 1/2″x4 3/4″, cut diagonally from top left to bottom right; (Lost Lagoon) 3 1/4″x4 1/2″, cut diagonally from top left to bottom right; (DSP) 3″x4 1/4″, cut diagonally from top left to bottom right.

INSIDE: (Lost Lagoon) 4″x5 1/4″; (Basic White) 3 3/4″x5″, cut 2″ from right edge down to bottom right

Here’s the same card using Lost Lagoon and Peach Pie.

This card is more feminine. I used the new In-Color Strawberry Slush paired with Garden Green. The Florals in Bloom DSP is so pretty. I used stamps from The Right Words – such a great set of greetings and sentiments. I used a punch (retired) for the layered greeting on the front. I finished off the card with In-Color Flat Pearls and some White Ribbon.

I made this pretty birthday card using products from the Wildflower Birthday Suite Collection. The base is Pretty in Pink with Blueberry Bushel and I used the Pretty in Pink ribbon. I stamped in Blueberry Bushel and added some Pretty in Pink Sequins embellishments. Those laser cut pieces that are included with the DSP make decorating so easy!

Try this fun cad design out. It will really make someone’s day to receive such a unique card.

anHappy Crafting!
