What a great way to show off large die cut images! This card fold is super simple and very versatile. I struggle with using some of the laser cut images in the the Wildflower Birthday Suite. The laser cut pieces are so pretty, but also many are so large. This is a great way to utilize them as a focal point on your cards. It’s also a great fold for other dies and you can really think “outside the box” (see what I did there) when it comes to decorating this card!! I know you’re going to enjoy creating cards using this fold.

Isn’t this so pretty! I’ve already made several because I had two paper packs worth of laser cuts and have only used a couple of the largest pieces. The hardest decision will be to decide who gets these sweet cards on their birthday! My card base is Soft Sea Foam. It looks so pretty with Blueberry Bushel. I layered Blueberry Bushel behind the DSP to really make the DSP pop. I also used one of the pre-designed panels also included in the paper pack. I stamped in Blueberry Bushel and added some Gold Striped Ribbon and Antique Pearls to finish it off. Here’s how to make this fun fold card.
CUTTING/SCORING MEASUREMENTS
BASE: (Soft Sea Foam) 4 1/4″x11″, scored at 5 1/2″
FRONT PANEL: (Blueberry Bushel) 4 1/8″x 4 3/8″ (DSP) 4″x4 1/4″
BOX: (Soft Sea Foam) 4 1/2″x4 3/4″, scored at 1″, 2″, 3″ and 4″
PANELS FOR BOX): (Blueberry Bushel) 4 1/8″x 7/8″; (DSP) 4″x 3/4″
INSIDE: (Blueberry Bushel) 5 3/8″x4 1/8″ (x2) ; (DSP or Basic White) 5 1/4″x4″ (x2)

I created this card using the Beautiful Butterflies Bundle. I’ve been wanting to use up my Moody Mauve paper since it recently retired. Since I used the Wildly Flowering DSP it was the perfect combo. I just matched my butterfly colors with the DSP. The Hybrid Embossing Folder makes it extra special! I die cut in Misty Moonlight and Moody Mauve and stamped in Misty Moonlight. This card is super simple but still looks so very pretty.

I was in a playful mood when I create this happy little card. I love how sweet the animals look in the Peekaboo Forest Bundle. I find it relaxing to grab my Stampin’ Blends and color away. The front box on this card makes it really easy to create a little forest for all these cute critters to hang out and play. My base is Early Espresso. I used Garden Green for the grass, Granny Apple Green for the Tree Leaves, Balmy Blue for the background and then color the tree trunk in Pecan Pie. I couldn’t decide where to place the woodpecker so he perched himself on the sentiment inside the card. This card looks so cheerful.
I know you’re going to enjoy making the front box fold. It’s simple and you can be so creative with ways to make cards using this fold. How will you make yours?
Happy Crafting!
