It’s the most wonderful time of the paper crafting year! It’s all about the new Annual Catalog and it’s chock full of wonderful new stamps, dies and colors!! This card shows off the gorgeous new Beautiful Gallery Suite. Everything in this suite of products is so pretty and perfect for those special cards. The Designer Series Paper really makes your creation look extra special, too! This fun fold isn’t difficult at all, but it looks intricate. I know you’re going to enjoy making these over and over again.

I created this card using Basic Beige for the card base and then layered Early Espresso as well. Those two colors look so perfect with the DSP I chose for this card. I stamped in Early Espresso. I used just a hint of Stampin’ Blends to color in the flowers on the front of the card. I used Light Pecan Pie and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends to just add a hint of color on the details of the flower and leaves. Then I colored over my blends with the Color Lifter to soften it up. It looks so pretty and subtle that way. To finish the flower off, I brushed the flowers with Clear Wink of Stella for a little shimmer. I also added some die cut leaves and a few of the Pressed Flower Motifs gems. Since the base is a light color, I didn’t add any panels to the back…I’ll just do my writing on the cardstock.
Here’s what you need to know to create this card.

I used the brand new Floral Impressions Suite for this card. Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling (2 of the brand new In-Color colors) make up the base and layer on this card. The Floral Impressions DSP is so pretty. I stamped the flowers using Strawberry Slush, Fresh Freesia, Darling Duckling and Pecan Pie. The leaves are die cut in Garden Green. I simply fussy cut the greeting on the front. Since this card has a darker base, I added layers to the back of the card for writing on.

I used the Florals in Bloom Suite for this last sample. The base is Secret Sea and Timid Tiger (2 new In-Color colors). Again, that new DSP is perfect!! I stamped the flowers in Secret Sea, Timid Tiger and Summer Splash. The beauty of these suites is that everything works so perfectly together.
This is such a fun card to make and if you just plan out a few color combos, it’s easy to make a quick stack of these ahead of time. Try it out !!
Thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting!
