Have you noticed there are so many different types of Z-Fold Cards. That’s no surprise because they are all wonderful and make card crafting versatile and lots of fun. This one is pretty basic, but the way you add one small piece to the front allows it to display so very nicely. This card comes together quickly but that certainly doesn’t mean it’s boring. It’s all how you decorate. I had a lot of enjoyment creating this sunrise (or sunset) scene on the front. There’s just something about coloring that I find so relaxing.

Isn’t this scene so relaxing? It is super simple to create. Just make a mat from the same size piece of cardstock and punch out a circle. I used a 1 7/8″ circle to make mine. Layer it over your carsick panel and tape it down so it doesn’t move on you. Then I used a blender brush to brush on some Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger ink. The rest of the stamping was in Secret Sea. The card base is Cloud Cover and it’s layered with Secret Sea (they pair so well together). I also used som DSP from the 2025-2027 In-Color 6×6 pack. By placing dimensionals at the bottom of my greeting, I left room for the front of the card to tuck right in and display perfectly. Don’t forget to embellish! I used 2025-2027 In-Color Flat Pearls here.
Here’s what you need to know to create this fun fold.
CUTTING/SCORING
Z-FOLD BASE: (Cloud Cover) 4 1/4″x11″, score at 2 3/4″ and 5 1/2″
LAYERS FOR Z-FOLD: (Secret Sea) 4″x5 1/4″; 2 1/2″x4″ (x2); (DSP) 2 1/4″x3 3/4″ (x2)
MINI CARD BASE: (Cloud Cover) 3 1/2″x9″, scored at 4 1/2″
FRONT LAYERS: (Secret Sea) 3 3/8″x4 3/8″; (Basic White) 3 1/4″x4 1/4″
INSIDE LAYER: (Basic White) 3 3/8″x4 3/8″

Another great duo is Pretty in Pink and Blackberry Bliss. That’s what I used to create this card, along with some retired Impressions Abloom DSP. I love the whimsical nature of the Along These Lines stamps. There are so many fun images in that stamp set. I used the simple lined rose here and stamped it in Pretty in Pink, Berry Burst and Blackberry Bliss. The sentiments and greetings were all stamped and embossed using the More Messages bundle.

I just love the Painterly Pears Suite and this card is maybe one of my faves. You just can’t go wrong with this one. I used Darling Duckling and Secret Sea for this card. There’s lots of those colors in the DSP so it makes color coordination a snap. Instead of using words to anchor my card front, I used a simple circle and s small pear that I fussy cut from the DSP. I also used one on the inside as well. I will definitely make more of these.
Which one is your favorite? What stamps do you have that will work magically with this fun fold? I bet you have endless possibilities.
Happy Crafting!
