I love a card that makes people wonder, “Wow, how did she do that!” This is definitely one of those cards. It looks difficult, but it’s really not. You’ll want to make them again and again. It’s also a great fun fold to show off your designer series papers!

How fun is this card! Three bridges that go this way and that, and a z-fold that keeps it super interesting. This card looks hard to create but with just a few scores cuts and panels you’ve got a masterpiece. There’s a lot going on in the world right now, so I thought using the Hope, Love & Joy Bundle was just perfect! I love that bundle and I love that it can carry through the whole year. I also paired it with the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper – there’s a little something for everything in there so it’s just perfect. My card base is Secret Sea, which pairs so well with the Strawberry Slush and Daffodil Delight shades in the DSP. I added a Secret Sea bow to the bottom bridge and of course added some Clear Wink of Stella to my hearts because I love a little shimmer whenever possible! Here’s what you need to know to create this fun fold card.
CUTTING/SCORING MEASUREMENTS
BASE: (Secret Sea) 4 1/4″x11″, with the 11″ at the top, score at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″ on each end.
Z-FOLD BRIDGES: (Secret Sea) 3 3/4″x8 1/4″, with the 8 1/4″ side at the stop, score at 1 3/8″ and 2 3/4″ on just one side this time. Then, rotate the paper so the 3 3/4″ end is at the top and cut into three 1 1/4″x 8 1/4″ strips.
DSP FOR THE BRIDGE: (DSP) 6 3/8″X3″; with the 3″ end at the top, cut into three 1″x 6 3/8″ strips. Then put the 3 strips back on the trimmer and cut at the 5 1/4″ mark so you have 3 long strips and 3 small squares.
DSP FOR THE BASE: (DSP) 9 1/2″x4″, with the long edge at the top, cut six 1 1/8″ x 4″ strips and one 2 5/8″ X 4″ piece.

You can see how nice this looks with all the same DSP throughout the card – a completely different look. As you can see this DSP has a direction to it, so I had to be sure everything was cut and placed properly so nothing was upside down. I used the Florals in Bloom Suite for this card. The base is Garden Green. “Lovely” is die cut from Strawberry Slush and Darling Duckling. I stamped in Secret Sea. The image on the back is stamped in Strawberry Slush and Garden Green. I finished off the card by adding some Strawberry Slush ribbon, In-Color Flat Pearls and Clear Wink of Stella.
