Cheers & Sips is such a fun suite of products to craft with! I love everything in the suite and I really love how this card fold shows off everything. I really went wild with the drinks, garnishes, fruit and all, but hey why not! It’s so much fun. The hardest decision is who to send it to! Maybe I just need to make a few more.

There are lots of ways to create drinks with this suite of products. You can make cocktails and mocktails and just plain old iced tea and lemonade. I decided to add a glass of wine and some strawberry lemonade. The base of this card is Cloud Cover layered with Secret Sea. I love how Secret Sea works with just about any color paired with it…it’s kind of black, kind of blue, kind of grey…the color certainly is a Secret!! I love it. I used lots of things to decorate this card. I die cut the glasses from the designer series paper; I fussy cut small drinks and bottles out DSP; I stamped, colored and die cut my fruit and garnish pick; and, I used a variety of papers. For the front panel I even embossed the Basic White with the coordinating embossing folder to give it a nice texture. Don’t forget to stamp your ice in your beverages. Here’s a little tip – use Clear Wink of Stella to create a frosty cold look to that ice and also add some to the fruit to give it a fresh crispness. Now, here’s what you need to know to make this card.

For this cheery little card I used the Notes & Totes Bundle and paired it with the retired Friends of the Ocean DSP. It works perfectly with the beach theme and since I made sure to grab up several packs I have plenty to craft with. The card base is Azure Afternoon. I stamped in Secret Sea and Berry Burst. I tore up some Crumb Cake cardstock to create the sandy beach and used a sponge dauber to add on some details and then stamped the sand grains. The rest is the fantastic dies – they do the most impressive work! I used Berry Burst, Calypso Coral and Secret Sea for the die cuts. I also added some silver metallic paper inside the sunglasses. I can’t wait to send a friend this card!

I made this last card for my oldest daughter’s birthday. The Wildflower Birthday Suite is perfect for her. She loves flowers and feminine things. The base of this card is Pool Party and Pretty in Pink. I camped and embossed in Gold WOW powder. I die cut the number 33 in Gold Metallic Paper and added that to make it perfectly personal for her. The rest is the work of the fabulous laser cut pieces that come inside the DSP pack. She’s going to love it.
So there is your triple flap card. I love how this fun fold shows off all the new products perfectly. Each card is truly a special gift in itself.
See you next week! Happy Crafting!
