Here’s a fun fold that’s been around, however I’ve never made tutorial for it. When I saw how pretty the Floral Charm Suite is I knew I needed to make one…and show all my crafty friends how to make one as well. This new suite is an Online Exclusive so if. you love it then grab it up. It won’t be around forever!

Isn’t this card pretty! The card base is Pretty Peacock. I used the gorgeous Floral Charm DSP as a focal point and I went a little outside my comfort zone by coloring my stamped images in Timid Tiger, Soft Sea Foam and highlighting with a bit of Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends. I love how these colors work together. Timid Tiger for flowers??? Yes, and it works! Here’s what you need to know to create this fun fold.
CUTTING/CORING MEASUREMENTS
BASE: (Pretty Peacock) 5 1/2″x8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″
BASE INSIDE: (DSP) 4″x5 1/4″; (Basic White) 4″x5 1/4″
MECHANISM: (Pretty Peacock) 4″x5 1/4″, with 4″ side on top, score at 1″, 2″ and 3″
MECHANISM PANELS: (Pretty Peacock) 2″x3″ (x2) and 1 1/4″x3″ (x1); (Basic White) 1 7/8″x2 7/8″ (x2) and 1 1/8″x2 7/8″ (x1)
BASE FRONT: (DSP) 4″x5 1/4″

I used the Cheers & Sips Suite for this sample. The base is Strawberry Slush. I used both the stamps and also fussy cut elements from the DSP to decorate the panels. Stampin’ Blends made the drinks look extra yummy. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to give the ice and some of the fruit an icy cool shimmer. Don’t you love the greetings and sentiments. They come from the new Online Exclusive stamp set called Not 29 Anymore. It’s so fun!!

The last sample uses those fabulous Everyday Arches Dies and the Arched Wishes stamps to create the sweetest birthday card. The base is Lemon Lime Twist. I used Berry Burst, Azure Afternoon and Bubble Bath for the arches. I also did some embossing – the greeting on the front is embossed in white and the sparkle on the candle is embossed in silver. I love how cheery the Bright & Beautiful 6×6 DSP is and will be sad to see it go. The cupcake is super easy to fussy cut after coloring it in with your Stampin’ Blends.
This card was fun! I wasn’t planning on making one but once I got the idea and started creating them I just couldn’t stop! I hope you give this one a try – I think you’ll like it and the lucky person to receive one of your cards will LOVE it!!
Happy Crafting!

I love this card! I’m making Happy Mail for a growing list of people facing life challenges. I try to send a pretty/serious card once/month and a funny/cute card once. I’m thinking of cute animals/bright colors for the panels. Thank you!
