I love trees. It’s one of my favorite things to admire in nature. There are so many different types, colors, heights, leaves, and how they are connected to each other is fascinating. Have you read The Hidden Life of Trees: What they Feel and How They are Connected? Such a good book!! Anyway, I knew when I made this fun fold I wanted to create a beautiful tree for Fall. The Autumn Trees Stamps and coordinating dies are perfect for this. I also love how this card folds completely flat, but also pops out and stands beautifully on display. It’s super simple to create but stunning to look at.

Don’t you just love that tree? My card base is Darling Duckling and my layers are Timid Tiger and Autumn Toile Designer Series Papers. I also used Very Vanilla for the back since the DSP has vanilla tones in it. I stamped in Early Espresso. The tree shape is Very Vanilla base, then Early Espresso for the tree, and Pecan Pie, Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger for the leaves. Just use your scissors to snip apart the clusters of leaves and add them where you wish. For the back, I die cut the deer in Early Espresso and added part of it to the back panel. Super simple to put together!
Here’s what you need to know to make this fun fold.
BASE: (Darling Duckling) 5 1/2″x8″, scored at 1 7/8″, 3 3/4″, 4 1/4″ and 6 1/8″
FRONT PANEL: (Timid Tiger) 1 5/8″x5 1/4″ (x2); (DSP) 1 3/8″x5″
INSIDE LEFT AND RIGHT PANELS: (DSP) 1 5/8″x5 1/4″ (x2)
INSIDE MIDDLE: (DSP) 1 5/8″x5 1/4″ (x2); 3/8″x5 1/4″
BACK*Optional: (Very Vanilla) 1 5/8″x5 1/4″ (x2); 3/8″x5 1/4″

I love this card so much. The Earthen Toned Metallic Paper is perfect here. I also added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the pumpkins to make them extra gorgeous. The base is Early Espresso and it’s layered with Calypso Coral and that pretty Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper. I used my Stampin’ Blends to add color the the front image and pull all the colors together. Instead of putting panels on the back of this card, I just added them inside the card and stamped a few simple leaves to decorate them. I finished off the card with some Streaked Dots.

How fun is this little squirrel! I loved the Fluffy Squirrel Stamp Set. I also love Cloud Cover and Pretty Peacock together. My card base is Pretty Peacock layered with Cloud Cover that I stamped with Pretty Peacock. I also added some 2025-2027 In-Color DSP in Cloud Cover. I used the coordinating punch to punch out acorns in both Early Espresso and Pecan Pie. Then I cut off the bottoms of the Early Espresso acorns and added the tops to the Pecan Pie acorns. I also added some Clear Wink of Stella to really make those acorns pop. The Pretty Peacock ribbon is retired but I used it here because it’s just perfect on this card.
I hope you enjoy making these cards. I know the loved ones who receive it will be impressed with how it folds and how beautifully it displays.
Happy Crafting!
