This card layout came about while I was creating a graduation card for my sweet niece. I wanted it to be special because she’s a very special young woman. I created a gorgeous arched accordion card for her so I decided to share this with you. I’m really enjoying the versatility of the Everyday Arches dies. You can do many thing with them. What can you dream up with these??

How pretty is this card! I made a simple rectangular panel for the base and then cut the largest Everyday Arches Dies to attach to my base. Cut some additional layers with the various size arch dies and you’ve added some wow factor! I also die cut some butterflies from the Bloom Impressions DSP from Sale-A-Bration using the Beautiful Butterflies Dies. Add some embellishments and you have a prized card.
CUTTING INSTRUCTIONS:
BASE: (Night of Navy) 3 1/2″x 8 1/2″, scored at 4″ and 8″
Die Cut (Night of Navy) 3 of the largest arches
Die Cut (Basic White) 1 each of the 2nd and 3rd largest arches
Die Cut (DSP) 1 of the 3rd largest arches
Die Cut (Pretty in Pink) 1 of the 2nd largest arches
Now for my other creations!

This sample really shows off that free Fruit Salad 6×6 DSP from Sale-A-Bration. It’s so bright and cheerful. I used Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight layers.

This beauty is the card I created for my brilliant and sweet niece. I used Blackberry Bliss and Fresh Freesia cardstock and paired it with the Everyday Skies DSP. Do you see the hidden panel with the little pocket? I just added a little hinge and used my pocket thoughts dies to create a cute little spot for some $$.
**This layout could also be downsized to simply two panels like a more traditional card.
I’ll definitely be making more of these in the next few weeks. I have lots of birthdays coming up!
Happy Crafting.
