Yesterday was a random crafternoon and I needed to make a few quick cards to mail out. I decided to make this quick and easy fun fold card and then realized I also needed to share it with all my online crafting friends. I enjoyed making my first two cards and then just couldn’t stop – I actually made 6 total and it took no time at all. You’ll have this one memorized after just a few cuts. I know you’ll use this one again and again.

I made this card for one of my amazing customers using the brand new Banner Sayings Bundle. The stamp set is such a great addition to your craft stash. There are 14 versatile greetings/sentiments that you will use all year long. The bundle comes with a fantastic little punch that punches out 3 different tags – all work with the wording in the stamp set. Check it out in my online store – you’re going to love it.
I created this card using Mossy Meadow for the base and then layers of Basic White and DSP from the Brushed with Beauty Suite. With a few simple cuts and scores, this card comes together fast. Just remember the recipe – a base, 2 panels, a sentiment panel and then some type of image or tag for the front. That’s it!! Here’s what you need to know to create this card.
CUTTING/SCORING INSTRUCTIONS
BASE: (Mossy Meadow) 4 1/4″x11″, score at 2 1/2″, 3 3/4″, 6 3/4, and 8 1/4″
PANELS FOR BASE: (Basic White) 4″x4″ (x2); 2 1/2″x4″(x1); (DSP) 3 7/8″x3 7/8″ (x2)
That’s it!!

I love the Painterly Pears Suite. It’s my favorite. Everything about it is gorgeous. The base is Secret Sea, the layers are Old Olive and Basic White and the DSP is the true star of the show here. The beauty of Stampin’ Up’s Designer Series Paper is that it is double sided so you can use the same sheet for both panels – just flip one over! I used the Hope You Know stamps for my greetings and sentiments. It’s retired, but you could use The Right Words as well. There are beautiful greetings and sentiments with the same vibe in that set.

I’m still working on a few last Thanksgiving Cards and this fun fold allowed me to make enough to create the last few I needed. I used Cajun Craze and Basic Beige for the base and then used the gorgeous Gathering Together Designer Series Paper. I use my Stampin’ Blends to color in the images and actually just fussy cut everything. I used a large circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies and added some Streaked Dots and some ribbon to finish it off.

Here’s a pretty Christmas Card using the Baubles & Blooms Bundle. I love that bundle. It’s so pretty! I used the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper and the Seasons of Elegance Specialty Paper. The base is Cherry Cobbler and the layers are Old Olive and Basic White. I finished it off with lots of sparkly embellishments.
I’m so glad I decided to make a few (or 6!!) of these so I could share them with you as well. Try this one out. It’s a great way to make up a bunch of cards before the holiday rush begins!! I always find myself behind in January after all the hustle and bustle so I’ll be stocking up on birthday using this fold so my January and February birthdays aren’t late!!!
Happy Crafting!
