Moonlit Flora Latching Gatefold Card
This elegant version featuring the Moonlit Flora Suite may be my favorite of the bunch. The color combination alone is absolutely stunning! The rich greens paired with the brand-new Golden Glow In Color and soft hints of Soft Sea Foam create such a sophisticated palette.
I used Mossy Meadow for the card base with layers of Golden Glow to really highlight the warmth of the Designer Series Paper. Embossed panels add texture and dimension, while all the layered die-cut foliage creates a gorgeous botanical spray across the front of the card. The extra greenery ties in beautifully with the foliage patterns in the DSP and gives the card a lush, layered look.
One of the key elements of a Latching Gatefold Card is creating a focal point that allows the greeting to tuck underneath and “latch” the card closed. For this card, the foliage arrangement creates the perfect anchor for the sentiment while adding lots of elegant detail.

Thoughtful Octopus Latching Gatefold Card
Looking for something playful and adorable? The Thoughtful Octopus Stamp Set is packed with personality and perfect for creating cheerful cards for both kids and adults.
For this version, I used a Pool Party card base layered with the bright and whimsical Beautiful Ordinary Life Designer Series Paper. There’s just something so fun about mixing stripes and polka dots together! I added balloons and cupcakes for extra celebration vibes and used the Stylish Shapes Dies to create the circle focal point for the octopus.
The greeting banner slides perfectly underneath the circle to keep the gatefold card securely closed. It’s such a simple detail, but it makes this fold extra interactive and fun.
Inside the card, I created a mask of the octopus so I could stamp sea grass and seahorses around the main image without overlapping. Masks are such a handy crafting tool because you can reuse them again and again with your stamp sets.
This card would be perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or anyone who loves cute ocean-themed handmade cards.

The Silly Old Bear Suite Collection is another absolutely charming option for this fold. This Online Exclusive collection is filled with nostalgic storybook charm featuring Pooh and all his friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.
